Asim Azhar is one of the biggest stars the industry has at the moment, his work speaks for itself and the guy is always brimming with energy! But after the reveal of the PSL anthem ‘Tayyar Ho’ received tons of criticism, the star took upon himself to apologise.
In a heartfelt note on twitter, Asim opened up about how he himself has been an avid cricket fan all his life and how Tayyar Ho had everyone step out of their comfort zones:

He also added that people should not be wishing death upon the musicians involved for a couple of likes, but memes, he wanted them coming! And people were moved:
Yaar ap ki koi ghalti nhi hy hum Pakistani jo expect Krty Hain woh kabhi nhi Hota
Tum acha Gaty HoSeeti Bajaygi se Uper ka kuch Mangta hy awam ko

Exactly how criticism should be:
Exactly.. criticism should not be personal..I did not like your anthem that does not mean I hate you personally,

Remember how everyone reacted to Fawad’s anthem last year? The thing about anthems is that they grow on you:
By the end of season everyone will be calling this the best anthem ever. All the previous anthems were hated and musicians trolled. But eventually each of them emerged as a blockbuster. pic.twitter.com/vgg0NvOvVE

Too soon, I'm sure this PSL Anthem will grow on fans still

People were telling him not to worry because they didn’t exactly hate the new anthem:
It's not your fault boi

Many agreed how personal attacks were straight up unacceptable:
Preach it brother! We agree 100%!
Everyone has their own opinion. Constructive criticism is well and good, but going down the route of personal insults is just uncalled for 😑

No one can beat Asim’s fanbase:
We love you for the tracks you provided us with throughout your career. If ones didn’t make it through hearts of most people, its no big deal. And you are not to be blamed certainly https://t.co/0SAlODsA01

Now this is pure class by Asim Azhar.
Having said that I still believe that Asim should stick with his sad song genre. Or at least 4 now he shouldn't be singing the songs jo poray mulk may sun'nay hein.
And yes, totally against the hateful remarks and saying 1 should be killed.❣️ https://t.co/qSQ15J1oUd— 𝒉𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒂𝒏 (@hi__hassan) January 31, 2020
Jo baat hai:
Well at least he has some sense for acknowledging it. And that would be enough for all of us. https://t.co/WA9ZiRLgjG
