There is absolutely no doubt that our industry has been churning out some great dramas for decades now and apart from the plot what lives with us are the couples who we ship really hard. Here are 8 couples that we would love to come together for a project or two:
- Humayun Saeed and Mehwish Hayat – Dillagi
One of the most iconic and loved couples happens to be that of Humayun Saeed and Mehwish Hayat whom we last saw in the intense love story Dillagi and both played characters that we still haven’t forgotten!
- Hamza Ali Abbasi and Ayeza Khan – Pyare Afzal
With an ending that broke everyone’s heart, we were in awe of the chemistry and the maasoom pyar that both Afzal and Farah had for each other. Both made a couple that we miss dearly!
- Imran Abbas and Sanam Jang – Dil e Muztar and Alvida
Imran Abbas and Sanam Jang have stolen our hearts not once but twice in the two dramas that they were paired in together and honestly, we just can’t get enough of them!
- Fahad Mustafa and Sanam Baloch – Kankar
Apart from having a very strong plot, the drama serial Kankar gave us a couple that we loved despite their differences. And honestly we miss seeing the two star together!
- Saba Qamar and Zahid Ahmed from Besharam
A couple that most didn’t approve of initially turned out to be one of our absolute favorites, with acting skills so strong we are yet to see a couple as powerful as Saba Qamar and Zahid Ahmed!
- Osman Khalid Butt and Maya Ali – Aunn Zara
Everyone from our daadis to our siblings fell in love with the chemistry that Maya Ali and Osman Khalid Butt had in Aun Zara with their comic performances to their very mature performance in Diyar-e-Dil.
- Fawad and Sanam Saeed – Zindagi Gulzar Hai
With characters so strong, Fawad and Sanam became an instant hit not only amongst the Pakistanis but even across the border. And even today when we binge-watch the drama we find them to be absolutely fitting for each other!
- Bilal Abbas Khan and Sajal Ali – O Rangreza
Bilal and Sajal won our hearts with their brilliant performances in Rangreza which makes them a couple we dearly miss on screen and hope to see them work together soon!
