TV Talk: 5 Pakistani Dramas We Had Our Eyes On This Week!

It’s been an interesting few weeks for Pakistani dramas, as many saw new twists and turns on screen, along with some seeing other kinds of changes off-screen. But, all in all, there have been a great list of episodes to watch this week, and we surely had our eyes on most of them.

From the performances that keep us glued to our TV sets in shows like Kashf to the happy and emotional moments in shows like Prem Gali, there was something for everyone to watch in the episodes that aired last week.

What else kept us entertained in the top 5 shows on air? Diva has the lowdown…

Mushk

We can’t help but agree that a show like Mushk is one of the best on our screens right now, and it continues to keep us on edge. Both Guddi and Adam’s plot-lines took centre stage this week, and the story is also getting more intense as the past and present coalesce. If you needed something unique and eye-catching, then we’re sure you didn’t see anything else but Mushk!

Kashf

Kashf is a mix of great moments and performances and then some lull storylines that just makes it a drag. This week again, we felt that it had both elements. At points, the Wajdan and Kashf story was interesting to look at, but then of course it got dragged too. We now hope the future episodes pick up and are kept quick and crisp!

Sabaat

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, Mawra Hocane has finally grown into a strong actress with a show like Sabaat and she continues to impress us. However, when it comes to the story, we cannot help but think that it has turned into a large clichéd mess. This week’s episode was nothing but the same ol’ repackaged into a new style and it made us really question where Sabaat is heading!

Prem Gali

Fun and refreshing, Prem Gali definitely had some great moments of entertainment this week. We love to see the chemistry between the characters the drama shows us, but this week there weren’t many genuine moments of it. It still made for a fun drama to keep watching, and we don’t have many criticisms for it, truth be told.

 Jalan

After a controversial ban on the drama by PEMRA, Jalan returned to our television screens this week. The show continued to bring us a weirdly-interesting plot of an affair many people aren’t willing to accept, but it kept us glued to our seats. The story is only simmering now, and we’re sure there are going to be some major moments coming for us soon!
