The much-awaited teaser for the Fahad Mustafa and Mahira Khan starrer, Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad is out, and all we have to say is that is truly gives a meaningful message without revealing a lot.
Directed and produced by Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Ali Meerza, the teaser for the upcoming – and only film to be released in 2020, shows Mahira and Fahad in a role that they both haven’t portrayed before this. We see Fahad as the possibly corrupt police officer (hinting at the tongue-in-cheek title of the film), and Mahira as a freshy, edgy girl who we bet will bring change into the latter’s life.
The teaser, which refuses to give much information, does make us believe in the magic of Nabeel’s work, however, as the visuals once again look delightful and equally gritty. There’s tons of action that is visible, and like most of the films under Nabeel and Fahad’s partnership, the film promises an underlying message with all the humour intact.
Now, one just has to see how the question put forward in the teaser, “Jaante Ho, Noton Pe Quaid-e-Azam Ki Tasveer Kyun Hai?” is answered in the film, as it honestly, makes us believe this film will have a lot ot ways to make us all understand the underbelly of corruption in the country.
What else do we need from this film? We’ll have to watch the trailer to answer that question soon.
