When it comes to the local menswear market, the name Emraan Rajput has always been linked to a certain level of style and taste that has only gotten better with time. Known for their signature cuts, up to the mark trends and statement details, Emraan Rajput’s pieces just continue to get better and better!
“After Dark” by Emraan Rajput took the runway at Laam Fashion Week last night and each piece brought its own unique signature. Not only was it just in time as winter looms over everyone’s minds, but it was also just what we needed to see in terms of Renaissance fashion. Emraan blended a combination of both classical and edgy style that revolved around each black piece that took the runway.
Aimal Khan opened the show with a striking presence of sophistication and confidence, first coated in a fur jacket and then flinging it off to show not just the heavily embellished jacket but also the signature nude detailing on the back. An indication of what else was coming.
Giving a subtle nod to Laam’s theme of their season 2 show, every suit had some form of silver. Whether it was a string of silver flare or chains that accentuated the suit, it brought us to two different timelines – one of comfort (Renaissance Era) and one of experimental design (Korean jackets).

When asked how the inception of After Dark began, Emraan said, “I wanted to design a collection that brought the best of both timeliness fashion and something quirky. I wanted every piece to have its own nuanced identity.”
Closing the show was none other than Abeer Asad Khan, and we expected no less! Having been known to add a leading lady to the mix for that added X factor, the whole thing came into full circle.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we present Emraan Rajput’s latest range of suits that fit all styles – After Dark, you were a hit!
