2019 has been a massive year for Pakistani drama serials and the actors starring in them, and many have managed to carve out a cult following for themselves as fans remained glued stuck to their television sets throughout the year.
From thrillers to romantic dramas, there was a lot to enjoy in 2019, and many actors to love for their bravura acting skills in these narratives and the TRP ratings surely proved that.

Saba Qamar
She might be one of the reigning queens of the film sets and her Bollywood stint is a shining proof, but Saba Qamar’s return on the small screen with Cheekh was all fans could talk about this year. She proved time and again she’s a brilliant actor and a show like Cheekh just cemented that belief.
Bilal Abbas Khan
From a romantic hero to a scheming villain, Bilal Abbas Khan clearly showed many sides to his acting skills in 2019. Cheekh was a sureshot example of his brilliance on television and we hope we get to see even more of that on our screens soon!
Imran Ashraf
Managing to do one of the most difficult roles of the year as Bhola in Ranjha Ranjha Kardi, Imran Ashraf proved that he is one of the best performers our industry has had in a while. Now we just hope other actors follow suit and learn from his choice of roles!
Humayun Saeed
An actor whose always reinvented himself with every role, Humayun Saeed in Meray Paas Tum Ho might be his best role to date. He’s the lovelorn husband in the show but more importantly, he’s for the first time, also the most emotional one! We absolutely adore this side to his acting repertoire.
Iqra Aziz
The last year and this one have been Iqra Aziz’s best and there’s no denying it. From Suno Chanda to Ranjha Ranjha Kardi, she did it all with utmost perfection and that’s why she’s been a fan favourite of 2019.
Hira Mani
It truly was the year of Hira Mani’s success and a show like Do Bol proved it. Her role as Geeti was loved by her fans and her chemistry with Affan Waheed and Haroon Shahid was quite roaring! We hope we get to see more of the energy she brought to the small screen in the near future!
Sana Javed
Passing the success she garnered with Khaani, Sana Javed’s Ruswai got to even more unimaginable heights. She’s been a star on the rise and today, she’s completely deservingly made it big.
Ali Rehman Khan
With his film career on one side and TV on the other, Ali Rehman Khan managed to garner much success for the latter this year. His role in Khaas may have made him one of the most hated husbands on television, but that’s the beauty of his acting skills!
Sanam Baloch
Another actor whose role in Khaas made her a shining name this year, Sanam Baloch has surely made her name after a year-long hiatus in 2018. She fit perfectly into the role of Saba and we hope we get to see Sanam on our TV screens more now!
Zahid Ahmed
Reinventing himself and introducing a show like no other on our television screens this year, actor Zahid Ahmed proved to be an amazing breakout star of 2019. His role in Ishq Zahe Naseeb opens many doors to newer narratives on TV and for that, he will surely be remembered brightly this year.
