We all miss the nostalgia of tuning into wholesome shows of the 80s and 90s on PTV and sitting with the family to watch what’s going to happen to our favourites like Sanya in Tanhaiyan or Captain Faraz in Alpha Bravo Charlie! Well, don’t reminisce any longer as HUM TV is all set to bring that vibe on our screens once again with Ehd-e-Wafa!
Starring Ahad Raza Mir, Ahmed Ali Akbar, Wahaj Ali, and Osman Khalid Butt, the armed forces drama promises a power-packed narrative full of love, friendship, and relatable moments we’re sure everyone’s going to love.

The Camaraderie
For anyone who has been an avid watcher of Pakistani television back in the 90s, there’s absolutely no way you don’t get the Alpha Bravo Charlie vibes from this show, and it’s the camaraderie that one has to attribute it to. All the cast members revealed until now – especially, OKB, Wahaj, Ahmed Ali, and Ahad – prove that good chemistry translates to good narratives!
The Story
At a time when so many dramas go down the saas-bahu lane, it’s actually refreshing to see an armed forces centric narrative on our screens where we get to see the growth and struggles of jawans into men of the armed forces. Plus, it’s no secret that our audiences love such narratives, and films like Parwaaz Hai Junoon and Sherdil are huge examples of that. Seeing something like that on our TV sets will only do good!
The Cast
While we can already tell from the teasers that the main leads include not one but three superstars of the Pakistani film industry in the drama, Osman Khalid Butt, Wahaj Ali, Ahad Raza Mir, and Ahmed Ali Akbar, Ehd-e-Wafa also includes Alizeh Shah as Ahad’s romantic interest, Zara Noor Abbas and Hajra Yamin, amongst others.
The Team
If you need a drama to go successful on our TV screens these days, it highly important that the right sort of team is put to the task of making it look good and worthy of our time! Fortunately, that’s one of the strengths of Ehd-e-Wafa as stalwarts like Saife Hassan is behind the direction of the show, whilst Aangan writer Mustafa Afridi has penned it down.
