Reaching new heights of success with a cult-following after the ever-popular drama Cheekh alongside Saba Qamar, new-age hunk Bilal Abbas Khan is all set now to star in his next drama and prove his acting prowess once again.
Directed by Baaghi director Farooq Rind, the romantic drama will be featuring Bilal alongside Yumna Zaidi, who has been doing wonders with her acting in shows like Ishq Zahe Naseeb, and Inkaar in the past.
Now, speaking about his upcoming venture exclusively to Diva, Bilal Abbas Khan reveals what to expect from him in his upcoming – currently untitled drama.
“It’s too early to share a lot of details, but I can tell you that it is a very different role and character to one I have done in the past – and I am not just saying this – it really is,” Bilal said. “we are just doing our best to give you some quality entertainment and tell a story with each project, just hope people will like watching it as much as we are enjoying putting it together.”

The actor, who’s going to be sharing the screen with Yumna for the first time, also spoke about her prowess as a fellow actor.
“Yumna is a great actress, with some amazing body of work behind her, so I am looking forward to sharing the screen with her,” Bilal commented. “We started shooting in August, and it took us some time to build the onscreen camaraderie, but we are hoping it will be liked by the audiences too.”
The drama, which is scheduled to go on air in the last quarter of 2019, comes right after Cheekh for Bilal, which has given him immense success. Now, with this new drama, will Bilal be able to harness the same popularity? He thinks the audience will be able to judge that.
“As an actor I just go and try to give my best for each scene, hoping that my best is good enough for the director and the audience,” Bilal concluded.
