With fifteen years of experience in showcasing the best of Pakistani fashion, in a time where the world looks to the genre of art and fashion to make things less dim, Adnan Ansari took it upon himself to revive Pakistan Fashion Week in London and bring about an evening where both the designer and the vision take the runway in the most iconic way possible.
With the overwhelming support from the High Commission for Pakistan, Riwayat presented their first show of the year that took place at St. John’s Church in Hyde Park. With names such as Pink Tree Company and Zain Hashmi at the forefront alongside others such as Portia, Ramsha, Anas Sami, Haris Shakeel and many others, each branch of fashion made an impact and stated that Pakistani fashion is indeed alive and well!
Pakistan Fashion Week has always served to be a platform that ushers in both decorated names in the industry as well as rising names who benefit from the experience of a fashion show. With Adnan Ansari’s distinct eye for talent as well as putting together a show that adds a unique style to runway in general, audiences were floored at the presentation of each designer – where bridals, formals of both eastern, fusion and western styles were highlighted. The message was clear. The designers were celebrated. The audiences jotted down their favorites and were left thoroughly surprised.
All in all, the show brought back a revived spirit of excitement and fascination that diverse audiences have with Pakistani art and fashion. With Azfar Rehman as the charismatic host, the event was well attended as the The High Commissioner Dr. Mohammad Faisal spoke highly of the show along with Javeria Saud, Miss Pakistan’s Roma Riaz alongside others who were in attendance.
The surprises are still in store as Riwayat’s post show exhibition will be taking place on the 31st of January, 2026 at London’s Marriot Hotel in Grosvenor Square!
