A film that was full of family drama, Cake was surely a winner of 2018 for its beautiful storyline and cinematic aesthetics. However, another thing that we loved in the film was its music, and the song Bol by Natasha Humera Ejaz just added to the magic.

Tere Naal – Punjab Nahi Jaungi

Punjab Nahi Jaungi had quite a few romantic songs in it, but there was some which just worked its magic on the audiences better than any other. One such example was Tere Naal which just showed us the chemistry between Humayun Saeed and Mehwish Hayat perfectly!

A mellifluous song from Urwa Hocane and Bilal Ashraf’s Rangreza, Phool Khil Jayein was that perfect song you need to make you understand how beautiful love it! Plus, if the vocals are by maestros such as Abida Parveen and Asrar, then it just can’t get any better.

 

Tere Bin Jeena – Bin Roye

A film that people couldn’t help but be addicted to, Bin Roye starring Mahira Khan and Humayun Saeed was just the perfect example of where romantic songs were adding magic to the narrative. Amidst them all, Tere Bin Jeena was like the crown to top it all!

 

Hona Tha Pyar – Bol

One of the first few songs that restarted the trend of romantic songs in Pakistani films, Atif Aslam’s Hona Tha Pyar for Bol was just a track no one would be forgetting any time soon. It was saccharine sweet, and its lyrics, just beautiful!
